Every one of our customers is assigned a dedicated customer service person. Their desk is in the same building as our manufacturing operations, not in another time zone as it is with some other major envelope manufacturers. This allows a complete team effort to meet our customer’s needs. In the event of a last minute change in order quantity or specifications, being close to the manufacturing and printing operation facilitates an immediate response.
Envelope Manufacturing
From high volumes of envelopes for a bill processing center to envelopes with sophisticated graphics for direct mail advertising, Response Envelope has the high speed manufacturing equipment to meet volume requirements, large and small. And our production schedules are extremely flexible to meet demanding quick turn requirements.
Running at speeds of up to 1600 envelopes per minute our web produced envelope equipment can also customize your envelope with windows (large and small), multiple windows, special interactive opening devices and other special features to support the creativity of direct mail designers.
Envelope Printing
Response Envelope offers a full range of printing processes to support our customer’s various requirements.
Our Halm Jet presses litho print up to four colors on standard stock or custom made envelopes.
All of our envelope manufacturing machines are equipped with high-end flexographic print units to print envelopes in-line, as the envelope is being folded. In-line capabilities include four-color process printing.
For our customers who require the highest quality printing on coated or exotic paper stocks, we offer full service lithographic printing and converting. And we can make those envelopes with all of the “bells & whistles” – multiple window and interactive opening devices our advertising customers are looking for in their custom-manufactured envelopes.
We also provide support and expert converting services for our customers with their own in-house printing capabilities.

Products for Direct Mail
It has been said that the envelope is the most important component of a direct mail advertising package, but only for about three seconds. During that time the consumer will decide if the envelope will be opened, or dropped directly into their recycling container. Designers of direct mail advertising packages use a variety of concepts to entice the consumer to open the envelope to see what is inside. At that point the envelope they designed has done its job and the message it carried takes over. Our job, and sometimes our challenge, is to develop the designer’s creative concept into a finished product, and sometimes do it very quickly. We do this very well.
Envelopes made of coated or specialty paper stocks with eye-catching graphics entice the direct mail recipient to “Open Me!”. Specially shaped windows, multiple windows or very large windows further grab the attention of the consumer. Add interactive opening devices like perforated panels or “zippers” for extra impact.

To produce a consistent and predictable volume of envelopes the manufacturer must have the right machinery and the skilled people to maintain and run it. “Total Package” Service
We offer our clients a Total Package service where we not only produce the envelopes but also provide all other printing and mailing services for their direct mail campaign. Response Envelope coordinates the entire mailing project from a single purchase order and with one final invoice.
